One method of ancient Chinese medicine was to use reflexology techniques as foot medicine to detoxify your body. These methods were based on the belief that the energy zones of the feet are connected to the internal organs. In Chinese and Japanese cultures, it is believed that the entire body can be cleansed by expelling accumulated toxins through the soles of the feet.
